Build It Week 2012

Looking for a life changing experience... Always wanted to volunteer and make a difference in the world... It’s easy, all you have to do is sign up today for Haven’s ‘Build it Week’ programme.

Our upcoming Build It Week trip takes place this coming May and we’re very excited! Haven is looking for 45 volunteers of all ages and from all walks of life to travel to Haiti on May 4th 2012, for a one week period. All volunteers will be required to raise €4,500. While it is desirable to have some construction experience it is by no means a pre-requisite so if you are fit & healthy and looking for a challenge call the office today.

Volunteers will work in various roles on our site in Gressier (25km outside Port au Prince), where we are building 100 houses in partnership with Oxfam and pcH, a local community development organisation. All volunteers will work alongside a local Haitian workforce employed on the project.
