Background of organisaiton

Haven is a development foundation (NGO) founded in 2008 and dedicated to promoting sustainable housing development, building communities and providing vocational training for the communities in Haiti. Haven has been operating in Haiti since 2008 providing sustainable housing and water and sanitation programmes. During this time it has built excellent relationships with its communities, local and national Government and Local NGOs. In 2009 Haven constructed 200 houses in Quanaminthe, North East of Haiti, 360 km from Port Au Prince. The organisation is currently in the process of building 300 houses in Gonaieve, Northwest of Haiti.
