Hurricane Matthew devastated Haiti in October 2016, leaving more than 1.4 million people in need of humanitarian aid.
The most powerful hurricane to hit the country in over fifty years, hundreds of thousands of families found themselves displaced and exposed to the threats of cholera and starvation. Severe winds and flooding meant that close to 100% of crops were destroyed and all water sources were contaminated.
Haven is leading recovery efforts on the remote island of Île á Vache off Haiti’s south-west coast, which found itself decimated in the eye of the storm. Please donate whatever you can today; 100% of funds raised here will go directly to our emergency relief efforts on the ground.
Together, we can begin helping families to rebuild their lives once more.
