Hurricane Matthew devastated Haiti in October 2016, leaving more than 1.4 million people in need of humanitarian aid.
Bringing the most forceful winds and rain in over half a century, Matthew left communities reeling from chronic food shortages and severe water contamination, damaging homes and facilities, and exposing the threat of another cholera outbreak.
Every day that passes marks another step on an extraordinary journey of growth and recovery for the people of Haiti – all thanks to you. Walking around the island of Île à Vache, where many of our programmes are based, for example, every corner turned reveals another family rebuilding their home; a farmer replanting their crops; or a fisherman returning to sea.
Please donate whatever you can today to help more families in Haiti to rebuild their lives once more.
